UNIVERSITY SINGERS: Scotland Tour Kick-Off Concert

The University Singers present this preview concert of its upcoming tour of Scotland. The program will begin by enveloping the audience in polyphonic and polychoral sound, featuring repertoire from the Medieval, late Renaissance and early Baroque Eras. Enjoy performances of traditional Scottish pieces such as Loch Lomond, as well as Gaelic "mouth music," in preparation for the choral stylings of Scotland. The concert will end with a set featuring multiple all-American styles such as folk music, spirituals and bluegrass music.
