Bryant S. Kendrick Memorial Outdoors Fund
The Kendrick Award provides non-graduating W&L students with funding and support for an extramural experience of self-examination and reflection through exploration of the natural world. Recipients record their experiences in an artful way to share with the W&L community. Previous Kendrick recipients have explored landscapes of personal significance near and far, and have brought their discoveries back to campus. You can be next!
The Kendrick Fund was established in memory of S. Bryant Kendrick (’67). Any non-graduating W&L student may submit the following materials to the Kendrick Committee c/o James Dick, jdick@wlu.edu, by midnight on January 17:
- A description of the project, including time-frame and travel budget.
- A brief statement about why you want to pursue this project.
Past awards have ranged up to $1000 to defray project expenses.
